Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax three foot long hex super chain with combination lock. This three foot long, hardened steel chain paired with a combination lock is gonna let you easily secure your gear to your bike rack, your roof rack, and more. You're not gonna have to worry about keys or possibly misplacing your keys. Everything is gonna be here and you can easily set this combination to something that you're going to easily remember. The hexagon-shaped hardened steel chain is cut resistant. The chain is triple heat treated and it can withstand over six tons of pull force and 11 tons of cutting force.
These links are a quarter of an inch and this durable nylon sleeve is going to protect your equipment. No part of the chain itself is exposed, so it's completely enclosed in this nylon sleeve, so you're not gonna have to worry about scratches or scuffs on your bike or on the gear that you are securing with this chain. Now we mentioned this combination lock, it does come preset to all zeros, and as you can see, it is a five digit combination lock, and this is going to be very easy to set to a code that's gonna be easy for you to remember, and the way that you set this is, there's what I'm calling a a knob right here, or a dial, and you just simply turn that clockwise until you hear the click and then you can set this combination for anything you want. So I'm just gonna go ahead and set it to something that I can easily remember. I'm just gonna set it to 1-2-3-4-5, and then I'm gonna turn this knob counterclockwise, and that sets the new combination.
Gonna go ahead and put in the pin and just turn one of these dials by one digit, and as you can see, it's locked. Then I'm gonna go back to my new combination of 1-2-3-4-5, and it is unlocked. So that's how easy it is to set the combination to something that you can easily remember. The lock is pick resistant and drill resistant, and this kind of has a, almost a rubber-type texture right here, so this is gonna be very easy to hold onto. It's got some grips there you can put your thumb and fingers on, so very easy to grip, very easy to hold onto, and it feels like it's a solid quality, and I think it's gonna do a great job of securing your bike to a rack or your cargo.
This does have a limited lifetime warranty, and this is all in black, and that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
